Why the hell it means so much to me
The Drama bug? I hated having my lifes ambition reduced to the level of a common cold. This wasnt a bug but a full fledged virus. It might lay low for a year or two but this little germ would never go away. It had nothing to do with talent or initiative. Rejection couldn't weaken it and no amount of success would ever satisfy it. Once it was diagnosed, the prognosis was terminal.
We may not always be as happy as you always dreamed we'd be, but for once, let's just allow ourselves to be whatever it is we are.
